The Story
Swett & Crawford, A CGSC Company, has been a conscientious corporate citizen with their brokers and employees making considerable contributions both financially and voluntarily. Over the past four years, for example, they have contributed and supported a number of philanthropic projects, including building a playground in New Orleans post-Katrina, sending care packages to U.S. troops and mailing 50,000 cards to soldiers overseas, laying turf for an athletic field at Creech Air Force Base, re-creating the holidays for deployed troops and honoring veterans at a weekend retreat. They have worked closely with Military organizations to sponsor events, programs and fundraised for active duty service members, veterans, first responders and their families. Many of these contributions have led to the branded name Swett Warriors.
However, it’s the employees’ and brokers’ admiration, dedication, and respect for service men and women or ‘warriors’ – those serving tours as well as those who are back at home – that’s at the heart of the company’s philanthropic efforts. Swett & Crawford’s goal through Swett Warriors is to honor, enable, and support troops as they transition home, and raise awareness of the issues many of them face. We foster lasting friendships between civilians and the American Warriors who have served, continue to serve and we honor the fallen.
Friendship means never forgetting the good; listening; helping; connecting; giving; It is apart of the Swett DNA to give as much of ourselves to service members through the olive branch of friendship.
